The Baby Sign-Along classes are designed for HEARING babies and their parents, caregivers, and grandparents. The classes are most appropriate for all children who are between 3 months and 2½ years of age and not yet able to articulate everything they want to say. Release the thoughts, needs and wants of your child's mind with the gift of sign language!

6 WEEK COURSE
Baby Sign-Along classes meet once a week for six consecutive weeks and are approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour long. The class includes our Baby Sign-Along packet which includes course outlines, recourses and research. Each lesson consists of teaching the parent(s) and babies at least 15 signs on the related theme, i.e. Mealtime signs, Bedtime signs ect. (using child friendly props and visuals). Signs have been chosen which are developmentally appropriate and relevant to your child's experience with each concept. In our class you will also learn to sing and sign nursery rhymes, we encourage class participation in an activity and we end every class by reading and signing a children's book.

PRIVATE IN-HOME CLASSES
In-home instruction is recommended for those who enjoy learning in the comfort of their own home and among friends. Classes are held once a week for six consecutive weeks and are 45 minutes to 1 hour in length. The class includes our Baby Sign-Along packet which includes course outlines, recourses and research. There is a Five family minimum for in-home instruction, so hosts need to coordinate with other families – invite your friends!

DAY CARE CENTERS
Baby Sign-Along offer classes for teachers, school directors, playgroups and day care centers ect. We provide several day care centers and preschools with sign language workshops for the children and/or the staff. MAKE-UP POLICY
There is a 30 dollar fee for returned checks. TWO make-up classes can be scheduled with the instructor each session. Make-up classes must be booked in advance as we like to keep our classes as small as possible. Tuition fees MUST be paid in full before the first day of class.

SICK CHILD POLICY
Out of concern for all children in our classes, PLEASE do not bring a sick child to class. Below are some guidelines to help you make the decision:


Has your child had a fever in the last 24 hours?

Is your child very fussy and not eating or sleeping well?

Has your child's last 2 or 3 diapers shown evidence of diarrhea?

Has your child been vomiting over the past 24 hours?

Does your child have a persistent cough or runny nose?


And answer of YES to any of these questions would probably mean it would be best for your child to stay home.
